F50 Adizeros micoach.Adidas unveils the intelligent football boot, the adizero f50 powered by miCoach. Soon to be made famous as the ground breaking ‘football boot with a brain’, the 2011 adizero f50 is bringing smart technology to the field of play.
adidas f50 first teased us about their new ‘intelligent’ boots when Lionel Messi took to the field against Nigeria in a pair a few weeks back, but the big day has finally rolled around with the official launch of the new adiZero F50 miCoach boots – an eye-catching (that’s putting politely) piece of footballing footwear design which incorporates a nifty little microchip in the sole, thus giving the 165 gram boot a ‘brain’%u2026
I recently got a pair of Adidas F50 Adizero Synthetic soccer cleats and loved them so much I though I’d do a review on them. At first I thought these were going to be very uncomfortable due to their lack of material (this lack of material is what makes them light). To my astonishment they were actually quite comfortable! No blisters or sores.
As soon as I held them for the first time I could tell that Adidas had made something very special. They were so light!! And when I put them on I noticed they weren’t like other ultra light f50 shoes, they actually were comfy. Breaking in took a few practices but after that they were absolutely perfect. It includes a comfort and a ultra light insert. For breaking in I highly recommend using the comfort first. They fit true to size, so get whatever you normally wear.
The inovation that Adidas put into these cleats is incredable! The sprintskin is a key factor in reducing the weight to 5.8 ounces!
They have exceptional touch on the ball and are very durable and I’ve loved them and highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a pair of high quality cleats.

Designed to break-in in a very short time, the synthetic upper gives more room for your toes to move around.
There is little to choose between the old design and the new edition: a redesigned tongue and a new look and feel to the upper. The tongue now sits slightly higher, presumably a more aesthetic design rather than a functional one. The F50 logo is now on the lower outside of the boot with new pattern designs on the outside too.
Adidas have used two new technologies in the design of the F50, Sprint Frame and Sprint Skin. Sprint Frame helps to maintain boot stability and reduce weight. Sprint Skin’ microfiber upper does not give or stretch very much, so ensure you get the correct fitting size.
As worn by some of the world’s fastest players, the Adidas Adizero F50 TRX HG have an incredibly lightweight design with Traxion moulded studs for increased grip and stability complete with a SprintFrame outsole for ongoing lightweight support. Lightweight cushioning and Ultralight sockliner reduces stud pressure. The Asymmetrical Lacing system, creates an enlarged instep for cleaner contact with the ball whether you’re striking at goal or making a defence splitting pass.

For true boot fans, this is what it’s all about! Forget the skittle-combo colourway’s we’ve become accustomed to over recent years and enjoy one of the games best football boots in its purest form – all black! They’re the coolest boots in football and some of the hardest to come by. But now adidas have given the adiPower Predator the black-out treatment that fans have been calling for since its release!
Black-out boots are immediate fan favourites and often a huge hit at retail! Despite this, brands tend to limit their black-out offerings as they offer minimal to zero visible branding. Understated in style and appearance, there’s no denying that everyone loves a black-out boot. For all of the boots adidas have stripped back to black, the new adiPower may be the best looking yet! The latest Predator series has been all about colour. From the Blue/Electricity launch colourway to the most recent Slime/Indigo/Blue release, there’s been no shortage of colour in the adiPower range. We’re sure this new blackout adiPower will be a huge hit, but there is one ominous sign for Predator fans.
Black-out releases usually mean the end of the line for a boot. We saw it most recently with the Predator X and now adidas could be following the same cycle this time around! The adiPower is reaching nearly a year in the game and its days could be numbered. A new adidas Predator is currently in testing and if we’re going on last years adidas boot calender, we could be looking at a May launch.
The great thing about blacked-out football boots other than the classy style they bring to the pitch, is that they call out the boot’s performance features focusing you on the quality of the boot.
